In the 60s, Earl was signed to the same company as The Beatles, recorded at Abbey Road Studios and had songs covered by Cilla Black, Helen Shapiro and Georgie Fame.

In the 70s, Earl performed on the Folk circuit and opened for Ralph McTell, Fairport Convention and Van Morrison on tour.

It was the tour with Paul McCartney and Wings, though, that finally enabled him to give up his day job; deputy headmaster.

In the 80s and 90s, Earl became a respected headliner on the comedy circuit as a MUSICAL comedian, appeared on The Parkinson Show and performed 500 shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Since 2000, Earl has returned to his first love, music, writing songs, (indeed a full musical) and gives concerts literally around the world.

Having been introduced to the world of digital technology, he now arranges his own songs and of-course, the tracks on this CD.
