Ian Bramble is a performer and musician best known for his wild slide guitar playing, catchy song writing and passionate performances. He is also an accomplished Hammond organ and piano player which is how he started professionally. After playing blues and rock covers in Midland pubs and clubs on piano, he found himself on tour around Europe with rising Blues star Mick Pini.

After five years on the road Ian left to session and gig with many different artists before releasing two albums in his own name, Hurricane Ride and Road 2 Nowhere. the latter recorded with Status Quo drummer and founder member John Coghlan and The Popes violinist Dave Allen.

Ian is currently guitarist in legendary Irish rockers The Popes but also plays in his own band Bramble and the Banned which includes his wife Nicky Bramble. Together they also perform with Texan songwriter Butch Kincaid as Butch Kincaid and The Brambles.

Ian continues to write and after a hiatus will be returning to gig, tour and record a new album.

Nicky Bramble who as well as singing in The Banned, and Butch Kincaid and The Brambles also fronts jazz band Hot Club 42, and has released an album, Miss Me, in her own name.
